Social purpose organisation UnLtd has appointed a board of directors in Queensland, following its expansion into the state.
The Brisbane-based board:
- Adam Hickey (Media Consultant),
- Carla Vella (Sales Director, Shopper).
- Justine Prentice (Client Partner, Mediacom),
- Lana Sciasci (Brand Manager, Clipchamp).
- Madison Wappett (Sales Director, MiQ),
- Michael Graham (Commercial Director, NOVA),
- Rob Swinton (Managing Director, OMD QLD),
- Todd Dickinson (Sales Director, Seven West Media)
Anthea Gaffney, general manager of Queensland at UnLtd, will team up with the group on a host of initiatives to close the gap between charities that help children and young people at risk, and the media, creative and marketing industries.
Since expanding into Queensland in July, UnLtd has brought on local Brisbane-based youth charity Traction. The new addition draws UnLtd’s national portfolio to 25 charities, furthering their reach to impact the lives of disadvantaged young Australians.
The first industry event by UnLtd Queensland will be the UnLtd Big Clash on Thursday, March 2, at the Valley’s District Cricket Ground, Yoku Rd, Ashgrove. All are welcome to join in on the friendly cricket tournament to raise funds for UnLtd’s charity partners.
If you are interested in competing in the QLD Big Clash and would like further information about the event, please contact anthea@unltd.org.au for further details.
Gaffney: “We’re incredibly fortunate to welcome our new board members into our growing UnLtd family across Australia. I have no doubt that each individual, given the diverse wealth of knowledge and experience on hand, will make a big impact across our industry and beyond.
“Since we launched UnLtd to Queensland earlier this year, we have been overwhelmed with the support from all corners of the market. I can’t wait to tap into that enthusiasm at our first event of the year, the UnLtd Big Clash.”
CEO Chris Freel: “Our board was chosen specifically for their passion and ambition that aligns so well with UnLtd’s mission. I’m looking forward to leaning into their expertise and personal connection to our cause, to further help vulnerable young Australians get the empowerment and support they deserve.”
