The Works creative partner Jerome Gaslain, who joined the agency five months ago, will now oversee the team.
"After selling the business to Capgemini in 2017 we have been bringing the various Capgemini skills closer and closer together to offer clients a wider range of services," Nicol wrote on LinkedIn.
"This feels like the right time to hand over to the next generation of awesome young leaders in our business.
"From our humble indie beginnings in Milsons Point we have grown into a creative business that is based on culture and we currently rank #4 in the Best Places to Work in Australia Awards."
"There are exciting plans for the agency moving forward as it takes advantage of being part of a global digital transformation company Capgemini. There are so many opportunities for the team to work on exciting collaborations on some of the groups amazing clients," Pincus wrote on LinkedIn.
