BSchool launches world-first tweet-based scholarship

Business education provider BSchool Australia is claiming to have launched the world’s first scholarship application written in 140 characters. The initiative - #TweetScholar – was unveiled at Pause Fest, giving the opportunity to win an $18,000 scholarship to BSchool by tweeting a “game-changing” business idea.

BSchool said #TweetScholar utilises digital strategies that have been “poorly represented in Australia’s business education landscape, until now”.

Submissions for the scholarship will be judged by BSchool's BFaculty which includes DT chairman David Trewern. Trewern has previously spoke of the need for greater education opportunities in the industry, telling AdNews that the lack of education in digital skills is contributing to a “lag effect” in the advertising industry.
