The new season of Nine’s Lego Masters kicked off last night, beating Ten’s new season launch of Masterchef Australia.
Lego Masters, which aired at 7.30pm, attracted 838,000 metro viewers for its first episode, according to OzTam figures. The show was the most watched entertainment program for the night.
Ten’s reality cooking show pulled in 670,000 metro viewers for its launch, airing at the same time as Lego Masters.
Meanwhile, Seven’s Dancing with the Stars: All Stars attracted 644,000 metro viewers, while Seven News was the most watched program for the night with 1.047 million metro viewers.
For people aged 18-49, Lego Masters dominated with 378,000 metro viewers, followed by Masterchef Australia with 303,000 metro viewers, and Nine News at 6.30 with 268,000 metro viewers.
For people aged 25-54, Lego Masters attracted the biggest audience with 430,000 metro viewers, followed by Masterchef Australia with 345,000 metro viewers, and Nine News at 6.30 with 316,000 metro viewers.
Nine won the night with 28.4% of the network share, followed by Seven with 26.8% and Ten with 21.6%
