Full-service agency Spinach today announced the appointment of Nicole Miranda as director of client services.
She joins the business with extensive retail experience including five years as head of marketing for Coles Liquorland.
“Craig and the team impressed me so much as a client, when they approached me to take on a role with the business, I simply couldn’t say no," she says.
"Spinach and I share a passion for great retail advertising and I’m looking forward to working with the team on new and existing clients in the space.”
Before moving to client-side, she held a number of agency roles, including JWT where she was director of retail, BWM general manager and Kmart business lead and business director at Badjar Ogilvy where she oversaw brands including Officeworks.
The appointment further bolsters Spinach’s retail credentials. The agency has worked with a host of retail brands including Drummond Golf, Baby Bunting, Queen Victoria Market, The Reject Shop and Coles Liquorland.
Spinach recently released a report investigating the future of big-box retailers.
Spinach CEO Craig Flanders: “Retail is a sweet spot for Spinach. It’s an area we know well and thoroughly enjoy. With her extensive retail experience on both sides of the fence, Nicole is the perfect hire for us. We first met Nicole during her time at Liquorland where we saw what a top operator she is. We couldn’t be happier that she has joined our team.”
