Advertising agency Snack Drawer has bolstered its team with five hires to support major new client wins.
Patricia Casten, former creative at Saatchi & Saatchi, and Book Tok influencer Aaliyah Wattie have joined the agency as senior and junior creators, respectively.
Guillaume Michel has also stepped in as senior social account manager, while Fiona Dunn and Tina Jenkins join the team as producer and PR account executive.
These hires have increased Snack Drawer’s headcount to 20 in 2024, strengthening the team as the agency takes on its role as the digital and content agency for the Victorian Department of Transport and Planning.
Snack Drawer CEO and co-founder Jamie Searle said the agency is excited to have found the "sweet spot" between creative advertising and communications.
"As we grow in this space, we are bringing in new, specialised expertise across paid, owned and earned media, investing in upskilling our team in what is our unique and important position in the agency landscape," Searle said.
"We are doubling down on our culture and agency values to ensure Snack Drawer continues to be a great place to work, learn and grow, and our clients receive the benefits of that.”
This appointment adds to a growing creative portfolio that includes a social-first campaign for AAMI featuring Sheila B Wright and a storytelling-driven collaboration with Intrepid Travel, both demonstrating Snack Drawer’s ability to deliver impactful, culturally resonant work.
Snack Drawer chief creator and co-founder Hannah McElhinney said the agency is focused on delivering high-impact campaigns.
"Snack Drawer is focused on how we use creativity and entertainment, as well as our understanding of fandom and culture to provide an antidote to attention decay," McElhinney said
"The work we’ve created over this year in collaboration with our portfolio of brands really reflects this stance, and our growing team, burgeoning client list and evolving portfolio are a testament to its impact."
The agency was recognised on the 2024 AFR Fast Starters List celebrating Australia’s fastest-growing young businesses.
Snack Drawer, founded in 2020, works with high-profile brands like Netflix, Meta, and Nike.
