The finalists for this year’s Siren Awards have been revealed and include 11 of Australia’s leading agencies.
The awards are run by Commercial Radio Australia (CRA) and recognise the best radio advertising across the nation.
This year BMF, Cox Inall Change and BWM Dentsu, Meerkats, Cummins & Partners, Eardrum, J. Walter Thompson, Clemenger BBDO, Nova Entertainment, Jayworks Partnership and Leo Burnett are all in the running for best ad of 2019.
The ads were created for brands such as Aldi Australia, Bowel Cancer Australia, Dry July and Emirates.
“This is the 14th year of the Siren Awards and once again the quality of entries has been outstanding,” CRA CEO Joan Warner says.
“The creativity displayed in the diverse campaigns showcases the high quality of radio advertising in Australia.”
The sought after Gold Siren will be handed down at the awards, hosted by breakfast and TV personality Lawrence Mooney, on the 9 May.
The duo behind last year’s Gold Siren win, Ray Ali and Carlo Mazzarella from Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, are again in the running this year for their work on a Carlton Zero ad. They will be competing against colleagues from the Clemenger BBDO Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne offices.
