Seven posted its second double-digital win in a row, riding My Kitchen Rules (MKR) and news dominance to a 34.9% share, while The Block slid down the rankings and Gogglebox debuted with just 495,000.

Yesterday's edition of MKR brought in just under 1.5 million on the overnight metro figures, according to OzTAM.

Meanwhile, the other two main reality franchises, I'm a Celebrity and The Block, dead-heated with 620,000.

Interestingly, I'm a Celebrity got more viewers in Sydney, while The Block Open House won more viewers in Melbourne.

Network Ten is claiming the win this morning, saying that on confirmed times, I'm a Celebrity actually brought in 4000 more viewers, putting it over the top of its rival.

Ten's highly hyped new reality series, Gogglebox, debuted with less than half a million metro viewers, although at a 9pm timeslot.

It also did well in the 16-39 and 18-49 demographics.

While Nine and Ten fight over reality franchises, however, Seven quietly went about its business and posted a massive 12.2 point win over its nearest rival on the back of MKR, Home and Away, and news.

It grabbed a 34.9% share against Nine's 22.7%. Ten was close behind with a 19.5% share and the ABC came in fourth with 17.8 points.
