Nine Entertainment is reportedly to spend $500 million to extend to 2030 exclusive broadcast rights from Tennis Australia.

The Sydney Morning Herald: "The extension, which industry sources said was agreed in principle over the weekend, comes as Nine and its rivals Seven and Paramount gear up for what is expected to be a pivotal fight over Cricket Australia’s next broadcast rights package, which includes rights to Test matches and the Big Bash League from 2025 onwards."

Nine in 2018 secured the exclusive rights to all premium tennis played in Australia from 2020 to 2024.  That $300 million, five-year deal included the Australian Open in Melbourne as well as the lead-up tournaments around Australia – the Hopman Cup in Perth and the Brisbane, Sydney and Hobart Internationals.
