Telstra's deal to bring Channel Seven catch-up TV to its T-Box platform could be a sign of things to come, with Tesltra keen to add more free-to-air content to the service.
This morning Yahoo7 accounced that PLUS7 content would be delievered on the T-Box, giving T-Box customers access to catch-up TV such as X Factor, Home and Away, and Winners and Losers.
Currently PLUS7's ad-supported catch-up service averages 6.5 million streams per month accross web, mobile, tablet, HbbTV and other platforms.
While it is currently unknown what effect moving content to T-Box will have on PLUS7, Telstra said it is in the market looking for more free-to-air content.
"The arrival of PLUS7 on the T-Box is part of Telstra's ongoing plans to bring more free to air content to our T-Box customers," Telstra's director of IPTV and Pay TV Eric Kearley said.
