Barbie and Ken at NGEN's Halloween bash

From Trump imitations to Stranger Things replications, adland pulled out all the stops at this year’s industry Halloween parties.

NGEN kicked off its annual spooky celebration at World Bar last Thursday, which saw young guns gather from OMD, Bohemia, Val Morgan, MCN and more.

Sponsored by News Corp and Spotify, the event welcomed more than 500 people in crazy costumes – our favourite being an exec dressed as a Goon bag. (See the picture gallery slideshow at bottom of page).

NGEN social lead Clem Birdsall says: "The aim for the 2016 NGEN Halloween was to find a format that gave more back to the sponsors of the party – to give more back we thought we’d find a way to offer more freedom over how their brand is represented and the interactions guests have with it.

"To do this we searched for a multi-room/level venue that could accommodate different sponsors in different rooms. This meant guests would need to go through all rooms giving maximum exposure to sponsors and the highest chance possible to engage with them."

Stan hosted an epic Halloween house party in celebration of the season two launch of Ash vs Evil Dead. Hosted in Sydney's Centennial Park, Stan teamed up with Pedestrian TV to welcome fans of the show and industry execs to a night of horrifying terrors (and great music). See pics below

Twitter also threw a Halloween bash last week - which of course meant attendees had to tweet about it:
