PHD's Chloe Hooper is leaving the media agency for her own business.
The head of growth and marketing hasn't revealed what area she will be in but the business is called Bare Feat.
This is a reference to her habit of kicking off her shoes when she presents.
"I still have lots to iron out in terms of defining the product and offering but I have lots of ideas and I am very excited for the new adventure I am about to go on," she told AdNews
Today is her last day.
She has been at PHD in Australia since 2015 and before that OMD in the UK.
She is known for her active volunteer work in mental health. She is a qualified mental health first aid trainer and active member of the Mentally Healthy Change Group.
Hooper: "I have decided to make the very scary move and set up on my own.
"My time at PHD will always be remembered as one of the highest points in my career. Since arriving as a backpacker in our Melbourne office, I feel like I now have the experience and have achieved the personal and professional growth to start up on my own.
"Of course, I owe a significant amount of thanks to PHD, for playing an integral role in this journey. The leadership team at PHD are all incredible humans and I feel extremely blessed to have been part of PHDs tremendous growth journey with them.
"Everyone brings their own uniqueness to their role and there is so much I will miss about everyone there, as well as those who have left over the years. I truly have made some friends for life.
"You are taught from day 1 at PHD to always leave things in a better way than you found them. I am really proud that we have done that."
