Pedestrian Group has relaunched Pedestrian Jobs.
The revamped platform has improved job-matching technology and a design that speaks to its hungry young audience.
Pedestrian Group CEO Mason Rook said he is incredibly excited about the relaunch.
“Pedestrian Group’s vision is to help young Australians feel heard and understood and with the relaunch of JOBS, we’re now making it easier for them to find roles that align with their passions and creativity," Rook said.
"This new platform reflects not just a technology upgrade but a deeper commitment to supporting the next generation, empowering them to thrive in careers they love.”
PEDESTRIAN.TV has also launched a new Careers vertical, bringing its audience expert career advice, tips and tricks for navigating their first (or second, or third) jobs, and juicy interviews from industry veterans.
PEDESTRIAN.TV head of editorial Alex Bruce-Smith said younger Aussies — a.k.a. Gen Z — are more likely to change jobs than their millennial or Gen X peers.
“Last year, 13% of people aged 15 to 24 years old switched jobs," Bruce-Smith said.
"That’s why we’re proud to also be launching Careers, a content vertical dedicated to helping young Aussies craft their dream career, whatever that may look like.”
Part of the content offering will include Insider Trading, an interview series asking young creative Aussies how they got to where they are, the lessons they learnt along the way, and all the nosy questions you’ve always wanted to know.
