Ogilvy Australia has opened applications for its annual 12-week paid Goliath program for those interested in a career in creative advertising, marketing and public relations.
Participants will learn about the creative process and will buddy-up with a senior person who shows what work is like day-to-day at Ogilvy. They will also be allocated network placements where they will work on briefs for real clients.
Sally Kissane, CEO of Ogilvy Australia: “The Goliath program is a fabulous way to find and nurture the next generation of talent in our industry. We are looking for bright sparks and wild thinkers to join our team, and Goliath is an excellent foundation for a career in the industry.”
“This year, we are extending the program to our Melbourne office and integrating our Ogilvy Health and PR practices – a huge step forward as we look to grow this program even further. I can’t wait to see the talent that comes through in this year’s graduate program across both offices.”
This is the sixth year Ogilvy has offered the program. Applications close October 31.
Neive Roebuck, Account Executive at Ogilvy and 2020 Goliath Graduate: “Goliath was a fantastic stepping-stone into Adland. I loved how hands-on the experience was, especially after finishing uni.
“You quickly learn that advertising is more than just the final product – there are so many nuances, collaborative and interwoven processes that happen behind closed doors that can’t be taught in a lecture theatre, or even a tutorial room. Being able to see it all play out in “real-life” was pretty damn cool.”
