Norris heads to Yahoo7

Mindshare's chief digital officer Ciarán Norris has jumped ship to join Yahoo7 as its head of strategy and implementation.

Norris will report directly to Yahoo7's commercial director, Paul Sigaloff, and will oversee advertising and commercial integration market strategies, with a focus on mobile, video, and cross-platform solutions.

He arrive at Yahoo7 with 14 years of experience, inlcuding two and a half years leading Mindshare Worldwides's new media strategy.

Norris also had previous roles with Reed Business Information, Engine Group and Mindshare UK.

Sigaloff said it was great to be able to bring someone in from an agency role.

“He brings a great understanding of digital strategy across both local and global markets which will help us continue to deliver new opportunities for our advertisers and ensure our commercial team continues to be the best in the industry,” Sigaloff said.

“Ciarán will play a key role in coordinating initiatives across our business to ensure our commercial integration, product and content value propositions are aligned.”

Norris will work directly with Yahoo7's RED Division and the Yahoo7 Studio team to help drive collaboration.
