SafeWork NSW is investigating Nine.

“SafeWork NSW is making inquiries into the recent allegations involving Nine Entertainment," a spokesperson for SafeWork NSW told AdNews.

"SafeWork NSW has not received a complaint at this stage.”

SafeWork's investigation follows Nine's earlier announcement of an external review into its newsroom culture following allegations of abuse of power, sexual harassment and bullying and more.

In an email update on progress on driving cultural change, Nine CEO Sneesby said the work now being done was critical to ensuring all staff feel safe in the workplace.

“That culture can only be delivered by acknowledging the issues of the past, recognising the changes in our present, and focusing on an energising future,” Sneesby said.

“We all have a role to play in making Nine the organisation we want it to be.

“I want to reiterate the continued focus from the leadership team and board on this important work.
