ARN’s former sales boss Matt Granger has joined Nine as director of sales for its sport portfolio, which includes NRL, netball and the US Masters Golf.
Granger will focus on growing premium revenues across Nine's key sports properties, and replaces Sam Brennan who took over the Melbourne sales team last year.
He joins from ARN where he was most recently commercial director until departing at the tail end of 2017. He has also held senior commercial roles at Seven.
Granger will report to Richard Hunwick Nine's director of sales – television.
“Matt is a fantastic appointment for Nine. He has a strong commercial background across both television, digital and radio and is the right person to continue to drive the growth of our premium sports revenue,” says Hunwick.
