Nielsen has relesed data focusing on the time Australians spent on supermarket websites and apps in August this year.
Highlights:
- 12.7 million adult Australians spent 8.3 million hours on leading supermarket websites and apps in August 2021.
- Adult Australians spent 9% more time on supermarket websites and apps in August when compared with August 2020.
- Time spent by Australians aged between 18 - 34 increased by 62% and time spent on supermarket websites and apps increased by 51% for Australians over 65. Australians aged 45 - 54 time spent decreased by 33%.
- On average, of those using supermarket websites and apps in August, 57% are female and 43% male.
