Deloitte acquires The Explainers
Deloitte has continued the trend of raiding ad land for acquisitions, with the firm purchasing content agency The Explainers.
This deal marks Deloitte's sixth acquisition of a technology related start-up in 18 months, The Australian Financial Review reports, with founder of the agency Matt Taylor now becoming a director at the firm. Having the explainers in the fold, Deloitte is now launching a narrative strategy team.
The Explainers, was launched in 2013 and uses animations, film, installations, infographics, written stories, graphic novels and other media to help clients better explain what they do.
