It's hard to keep up with all the latest moves across media, marketing and advertising, so we've made a list. Check out some of the biggest moves this week.

Paul Blackburn appointed News Corp's director commercial data, video and product
News Corp Australia has announced key changes to its commercial product executive team with Paul Blackburn appointed director commercial data, video and product, following Suzie Cardwell’s decision to take a new role outside the company. After sevfen years at News, Blackburn will now have two key responsibilities.

David Roddick joins Active International
Active International Australia has appointed David Roddick to the new role of head of commercial strategy.
He will join the Sydney office of Active International, which is Australia’s largest independent corporate trade and financial solutions business, effective immediately. He will report to Active International Australia and Involved Media Group managing director, Sarah Keith.

Creative Lili Danvers on her move to Nine
Lili Danvers has switched to Nine as a creative solutions manager from independent agency The Wired Agency.
Danvers will work collaboratively with agencies and marketers to bring ideas to the centre of Nine's integrated response and provide larger, creative scale thinking as well as an anchor point into Nine Powered.

Thinkerbell promotes Jaime Morgan to MD South (Melbourne)
Thinkerbell has promoted Jaime Morgan to managing director of Thinkerbell South (Melbourne).
Joining the agency in 2019, Morgan said: “It was a breath of fresh air to walk into Thinkerbell three years ago, and be part of an independent agency who shook up the old ways of doing things in order to find a better way of doing things.

MiQ new hires
MiQ managing director ANZ, Fiona Roberts, announced the appointment of two commercial directors for the programmatic media business, Stuart Parker and Hannah Cooper.

VMLY&R bolsters leadership team
VMLY&R has added two new senior leaders to its team in Sydney, and made one senior promotion.Clancy Walsh is strategy director, Jack Delmonte creative director, while Kath Chen, previously client service director, has been promoted to managing partner.

Manifest Melbourne appoints Meta's Katie Harrison group associate creative director
Brand communications agency Manifest has appointed Katie Harrison group associate creative director.
Harrison's background includes senior creative positions at Wieden+Kennedy, Special Group and most recently Meta. She is also a published author and lecturer on Narrative and Voice at Central Saint Martins.

Liam O’Meara promoted to GM outdoor and digital sales at Val Morgan
VMO (Val Morgan Outdoor) and Val Morgan Digital announced the appointment of Liam O’Meara from VMO NSW sales director to general manager of outdoor and digital sales NSW.
O’Meara started with Val Morgan Cinema in 2016 in the role of group sales manager before making the leap across to VMO in 2019 for the position of NSW sales director.

The Hallway appoints Carla Hizon head of account management
The Hallway has appointed Carla Hizon head of account management.
In this newly created position, Hizon will be responsible for leading the agency’s account management teams across Sydney and Melbourne. Hizon has held senior roles at leading agencies both locally and internationally.

JOY adds to digital and creative leadership
Independent Integrated agency JOY has appointed two new leaders across its digital and creative teams.
Senior digital leader Mani Marimuthu has joined the agency as Head of Digital, responsible for heading up digital transformation projects and leading overall digital offering across JOY’s growing portfolio of clients.

SCA appoints Ewan Giles head of sport content
SCA chief content officer, Dave Cameron, has announced that Ewan Giles has been appointed to the newly created role of head of sport content – Live and On Demand, as the company expands its sports content on Triple M and LiSTNR.

Quantcast's Brendan Muller becomes UnLtd’s first NZ general manager
Brendan Muller has been appointed the first general manager for UnLtd New Zealand, the social purpose organisation for the media, marketing and creative industry.
Muller has previously held senior roles as sales director NZ for Quantcast and country manager NZ for Vevo and Exponential.

Andy Houstoun appointed chief commercial officer of Crimtan
Programmatic company Crimtan has appointed Andy Houstoun chief commercial officer.
Houstoun will establish a commercial services division to focus on better supporting existing clients, as well as growing Crimtan’s creative and analytical functions.
