Holden top marketer exits after a year

Holden CMO Geraldine Davys has left the car maker after a year and a half in the role returning to her previous employer iSelect where she was Marketing and Customer Experience Director. The insurance comparison site iSelect has had tumultuous six months with a complete clearing of the decks in senior management. Former CEO Alex Stevens left in October 2015 after just over a year in the role, and was quickly followed by the CFO Paul McCarthy and Head of HR.

The company floated on the ASX in 2013 and its share price has fluctuated dramatically, crashing 33% in January following a trading update which revealed a number of “strategic and operational issues across FY2015 and into H1 FY2016”. Scott Wilson, who replaced Stevens as CEO, said in January that the company would invest in more marketing and customer experience – which explains Davys return.
