The WA state government is on the lookout for marketing agencies to service state lotteries body Lotterywest, but the buying on the account will remain under the WA government master umbrella.

The state government has put three tiers of service out for tender, putting Meerkats, Carat WA, Longtail Communications, and Spirit Visual Communications on alert.

The three tiers have been tweaked for the current pitch, covering strategic marketing communications services, creative, and production.

The strategic marketing services module will cover off on strategy and brand management, and media planning.

However, the module will not cover buying which will be done under a master media account currently held by AdCorp, OMD WA, and Carat WA.

The creative will cover development, while production will be covered off under four separate modules.

There will be a briefing held this Friday and the process will be closed out on 20 March.
