L to R: Jay Woods, Kieran Burke, Nathan Crouch (partner/co-founder of PeriscoPe) and Martin Corr (partner/co-founder of PeriscoPe).

Kieran Burke has joined the Burleigh Heads-based creative practice Agency Next Door (A.N.D) as managing partner and strategy director.

He will be responsible for commercial growth and strategic direction while managing client relationships.

He joins after 14 years leading client service at publisher, production house and creative services agency Monster Children Creative.

Founder and creative director of A.N.D, Jay Woods, said the agency’s rapid growth demanded someone with Burke’s experience to help steer the ship.

“The last 18 months have been a happy blur, and KB’s contribution to the agency’s structure is overdue," he said.

"He’s a bloody nice guy with a global outlook and a craftsman’s attention to detail; plus, his expertise adds immense value to the agency’s future and our immediate service offering”.

Burke said the partnership with Woods felt inevitable after a decade of the pair’s careers intertwining.

“I engaged Jay as a freelancer numerous times at MC and was always impressed by his strategic approach and ability to deliver pure creative thinking," he said.

"With the proven success of working well together on major projects, deep down, I always hoped we could join forces on something of our own.”

Launched 18 months ago by Woods, A.N.D is a full-service offering that spans integrated campaign development, branding and identity development, web and digital design, brand experience activation, and creative production.

A.N.D has also formed a strategic partnership with e-commerce growth agency PeriscoPe to understand and leverage the data opportunity created from paid advertising activity to deliver creative solutions that connect with the brand and customer acquisition landscape.
