Jens Monsee, the former head of WPP AUNZ, has a new job, CEO of automotive industry software provider Infomedia Ltd.
His base pay at the ASX-listed company is $600,000 a year plus short and long term incentives which coluld more than double that.
He starts May 23 with a sign on bonus of $450,000.
In a personal note, Monsees says: "Almost three years ago, my family and I moved from Munich to Sydney. It has been quite an experience, building a life from scratch in a foreign country so far away from Europe. Today, I am happy to choose Sydney as home."
In the official annoucnement, Monsees says: “Infomedia’s innovative and scalable software as a service platform and superior products were immediately attractive to me.
"I’m excited to have the opportunity to work with the Board and the wider team to lead the business in fulfilling its ambitions to become an Australian global success story, delivering tangible growth and shareholder returns.
"I look forward to continuing working with the evolving global automotive and technology industries to leverage my depth of experience and international relationships."
Before working at WPP in Australia, he ran global automotive sector transformation and digitisation strategies as chief digital officer with the BMW Group and automotive industry leader at Google.
He stepped down as CEO of WPP AUNZ when the company transitioned from a public company to a fully integrated business within the WPP global business.
