Digital first agency Connected today announced that is has won four new clients: IMB Bank, Octet, My Plan Manager and charity partner Forever Projects.
Connected Founder and CEO Laura Hamod Barnes: “Coming in to 2020 we had solid momentum and had invested in our team and our technology, ready for growth.
"When lockdown hit and the whole market was in a state of flux, I didn’t expect the momentum to continue. However, in the last eighteen months, we are seeing more and more brands seeking out our specialist skills – digital transformation, performance media, data and analytics.
“We pride ourselves on over-servicing our clients and delivering a different agency experience. We work with clients who are looking for a trusted partner to help grow their business. We are excited by the opportunity to drive results and make a difference for our new clients.”
Octet Head of Marketing, Duncan Khoury: “Connected is the perfect agency fit for a brand like Octet, allowing us to have a direct line to senior management expertise when needed, whilst also having a high standard of knowledge at the account director and manager level.”
Commenting on the competitive agency pitch, Khoury said: “I am really happy that we went through that process – I now have confidence that we can drive growth across our core digital metrics, and of course, a enjoy a great partnership too.”
IMB Bank’s original competitive pitch was put on hold as the bank focused on its merger with Hunter United in 2020 and was revived again this year. Connected is now responsible for all paid digital media including SEM and social for the bank.
Connected will also runl paid digital media for Australia’s largest NDIS plan management provider, My Plan Manager.
“Since our agency launched in 2012, most of our business has come via referral,” Hamod Barnes said. “My Plan Manager approached us after we were recommended as performance marketing specialists by one of our clients. Our teams have quickly hit the ground running and we’re excited about the opportunities ahead.
Similarly, Connected was recommended to Forever Projects, and Founder and Director, Mark Dombkins approached Connected earlier this year. He said: “Connected has generously guided our team to build the digital infrastructure we need. We're extremely grateful for this partnership with Connected and can't wait to implement some exciting new media strategies together in 2022!”
In September, Connected raised more than $7,000 for Forever Projects to support women in Tanzania break the cycle of poverty and create a self-sustaining future. Thirteen Connected team members took part in a 62km relay challenge over seven hours.
Four new clients announced today follow the addition of Success Resources Global, White Wolf, FitNutrition, WalkerCorp, Skinstitut, SkinKandy, and Apex Tool Group.
