Swedish furniture company IKEA has put its creative account to pitch.

The account last went to pitch in 2019 which saw CHEP Network win the $10 million business. Before that The Monkeys had held the account since 2010.

IIKEA confirmed this was a regular review, both globally and locally.

"With recent changes to IKEA global marketing, there are also changes in our local scope here in Australia, and therefore we have seen a need to review our creative agency," IKEA said.

"IKEA Australia will now undertake a closed pitch process, with selected agencies being contacted directly for expressions of interest."

IKEA's latest campaign The Uncreakoning via CHEP, disguised as a horror film, was launched on Halloween.
