Creative agency Huckleberry will give a helping hand to Kids Under Cover, with the agency doing both line creative and media planning on a new campaign from the charity.
Huckleberry told media today that it had been appointed after a competitive pitch process, and the campaign would include both pro bono and paid placement of media.
It is unclear at this stage which agencies Huckleberry beat out for the role.
The agency has been appointed for the Donate Your Car program, which urges motorists to donate their unwanted cars, which are then auctioned off, with the proceeds going to the charity.
Huckleberry will come up with a fully integrated campaign, including production of print, digital, radio, and television advertising.
Kids Under Cover national marketing and fundraising manager Aimee Suchard-Lowe said Huckleberry presenting both creative and strategy was a key reason the agency was appointed.
“It was fabulous to see the strategy and creative presented so seamlessly,” Suchard-Lowe said.
“The team at Huckleberry did a fantastic job in devising creative that would work across all channels, reflected the value proposition, and was driven from a clear strategic intent.”
The Kids Under Cover charity builds studios for homeless youth, and also offers scholarships and mentors to homeless and at-risk young people.
