Jeff Howard, who lost his CFO job at HT&E after the sale of Adshel to oOh!media, has landed the top finance role at Seven West Media.
He has extensive experience in business transformation and growth in the media sector, including through mergers and acquisitions.
The appointment fits with the vision of James Warburton, the new CEO of Seven West Media, as he hunts for new businesses.
Howard lost his role at HT&E in August to Andrew Nye, former CFO of Adshel.
At Seven West Media, Howard replaces Warwick Lynch who had been with the Seven business 24 years, including the past five as CFO
“I am thrilled to be joining Seven West Media at this exciting time," says Howard.
"Seven is one of Australia’s best known and loved content and audience businesses, so I’m delighted to be working with James and the team on driving content-led growth, pursuing transformation and optimising SWM’s capital structure."
Warburton announced the appointment today.
“I am delighted to welcome Jeff to the business. His extensive experience in ASX listed markets and track record of delivering in complex, multi-faceted roles makes him the ideal successor to Warwick Lynch," he says.
“Jeff’s immense depth of experience and exposure across the broad media industry and his achievements with M&A will be a great addition to Seven West Media as we continue our hunger to transform the company.”
