MELBOURNE: Superannuation fund Hostplus has appointed Michelle Brown as national marketing programs manager, following the promotion of Wayne Sullivan.

Sullivan became executive manager marketing in March. Brown joins Hostplus with almost 20 years of marketing experience in the financial services arena.

Prior to joining Hostplus, Brown was senior communications consultant at Australian Super and held the role of education and online communications manager at Plum Financial Services during her nine year tenure.

“We have made a commitment to help our members better engage with and better understand their super. Michelle will play a key role in member education, drawing on her years of experience and specialist training in financial literacy,” Hostplus chief executive David Elia said.

Brown will be responsible for the roll-out of Hostplus' digital offering including a review of existing websites and the utilisation of social media. She will also oversee a program of targeted contact with members.

Sullivan said: “Michelle’s experience in superannuation education and digital marketing services make her a fantastic addition to the team.

“We are delighted to welcome Michelle to Hostplus and look forward to working with her on an array of exciting member education campaigns over the coming months.”

Hostplus' digital agency is Click DM and creative agency is Trademark DM. Mitchell & Partners is responsible for media buying.
