Hearts & Science wins SBS pitch

Broadcaster SBS has appointed Hearts & Science as its media agency, following a closed tender involving seven agencies vying for the media owner account.

The incumbent agency Zenith had held the account since 2014. 

“SBS is pleased to appoint Hearts & Science as its new media agency following a competitive tender process," said Jane Palfreyman, SBS director of marketing.

"We also want to thank the dedicated team at Zenith for their work with us over the last eight years."

Jane Stanley, CEO of Hearts and Science, said she is delighted to be working with SBS as a leading multi-platform and diverse media brand.

"We were inspired by the SBS Charter and the ambition to further accelerate the digital offering including SBS On Demand," she said.  

"We look forward to partnering with the SBS team to build audience engagement powered by best-in-class data and technology. This will allow us to deploy the full capability of our incredible Hearts & Science offering and team. We can’t wait to get started."

SBS’s most recent major marketing campaigns include the World Cup campaign and the series Alone Australia.
