Regional radio network owner Grant Broadcasters has promoted Jeremy Simpson to group general manager, national sales and marketing.
Simpson will now be responsible for all national revenue through Grant Broadcasters’ sales representation company TRSN, as well as a range of other sales and marketing projects for the broader group.
Simpson will join Grant Broadcasters’ senior leadership team reporting directly to the network's new COO Rick Lenarcic. The network has 53 stations.
"Jeremy has a huge amount of experience leading national sales teams and he also knows how to work effectively with local station managers. We will also utilise Jeremy’s extensive management experience across the wider Grant Broadcasters company," Lenarcic said.
“I have worked closely with the TRSN teams for the past two years and know that we deliver an excellent service to our agency and client partners."
Prior to joining Grant Broadcasters in 2016, Simpson had held multiple sales leadership roles at fellow radio network Southern Cross Austereo.
This is the second major leadership appointment in the last 12 months, following the news that Alison Cameron would take over the helm of family-owned regional radio broadcaster.
Cameron, previously chief operating officer, takes over from Grant Cameron, who became a non-executive chairman - while Janet Cameron, the long-standing previous chair, will continue to remain a board member.
