Ten’s Gogglebox Australia season opening attracted just over 500,000 metro viewers.
Last night’s premiere for the reality show, which airs from 8.30-9.30pm, attracted 502,000 metro viewers for total people, according to OzTam numbers.
The first Australian Open night session, which aired from 7.15-9pm, was the top program outside of news, attracting 562,000 metro viewers.
Meanwhile, Seven’s Wife Swap Australia, which starts at 8.30pm, attracted 306,000 metro viewers in its second week. Last week’s launch episode pulled in an average 346,000 metro viewers for total people.
Seven News topped the night for total people with 942,000 metro viewers.
For people aged 18-49, the first night session of the Australian open topped the night with 215,000 metro viewers, followed by Gogglebox with 208,000 metro viewers and Nine News at 6.30 with 186,000 metro viewers.
For people aged 25-54, Gogglebox topped the night with 247,000 metro viewers, followed by the first night session of the tennis with 243,000 metro viewers, and Nine News at 6.30 with 226,000 metro viewers.
Nine won the night with 27.3% of the overnight share, followed by Seven with 26.6% and Ten with 19.3%.
Seven’s three episodes of Home & Away, from 7-8.30pm, attracted 459,000 metro viewers. While Ten’ Ambulance Australia, which runs from 7.30-8.30pm, attracted 303,000 metro viewers.
