AdNews has revealed this year’s top 20 Emerging Leaders.
They were celebrated at a spectacular cocktail ceremony at The State Library Victoria.
The program recognises outstanding media, marketing and advertising professionals with a minimum of five years experience in the sector who are currently not working in a C-Suite role.
The Grand Prix title went to Charlotte Berry, a copywriter at Howatson+Co, who was at 21 the youngest Cannes Young Lions.
AdNews publisher Assia Benmedjdoub confirmed this is the first time the initiative has had a stand-alone ceremony.
“Emerging Leaders has been an important cornerstone of the AdNews editorial program, celebrating industry champions on their rise to the C-Suite.
“This year, we wanted a chance to bring our shortlisted candidates together in person to toast their remarkable achievements.
“With record entries that demonstrated a commitment not only to adland, but broader social causes and projects, we are so proud to see this program do these trailblazers justice.”
