Foxtel has appointed Michael Nearhos as executive director, marketing.
Nearhos joins the News Corp majority-owned business in September and will manage Foxtel’s Marketing Centre of Excellence. His new role centralises marketing, creative, media, and content communications functions.
Nearhos has previously worked at Bank of Queensland where he was group brand and marketing strategic advisor.
“We are making good progress setting out a strategy for a positive future for Foxtel,” says Foxtel chief customer, marketing and revenue officer Hilary Perchard.
“One where we double-down on our efforts to give customers a great experience, where our products are increasingly streaming led and where aggregation plays even more important role in our future.”
Nearhos has also previously worked at Virgin Australia, where he was general manager for brand and marketing, and National Australia Bank, where he was general Manager for Brand Experience.
