Influencer marketing platform Indahash has announced the addition of digital consultancy firm Iconomy, launched by former Unruly boss Lance Traore, to its services.

Iconomy will act as a direct reseller of Indahash’s influencer marketing services in the Australia and New Zealand region.

Currently operating in over 80 major markets, such as London, New York, Singapore, Dubai and Tokyo, this new venture forms part of the company’s push to further expand its international presence.

“Indahash have been running campaigns in Australia since the start of 2018 for brands such as Pettit Planet, Hotels.com and Budweiser and we have seen influencer marketing evolving rapidly in the region with more brands and agencies searching for strategies and technologies that will help them hit their KPIs,” CEO Indahash Barbara Sołtysińska said.

Influencer marketing is a veritable force behind consumer brand awareness. According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, social media platforms in Australia have a 76% penetration rate, with 1 in 5 Australians on Instagram - a figure that would equate to five million active users.

A survey by Linqia group saw 92% of markets list Instagram as the principal network for influencer marketing in 2018. Facebook and blogs followed behind.

“With the Australian market being one of the fastest growing and most receptive markets currently, the opportunity to help mold its digital emergence is one that I’m truly eager to take on. indaHash is uniquely positioned to take influencer marketing to the next level,” Iconomy founder Lance Traore said.
