Journalist and business commentator Joe Aston, who headed the Australian Financial Review's Rear Window column, is planning his own news publication.
He said the site is "under construction and other details are still being finalised".
"In February, I will return to regular column-writing with the launch of my own (subscription) news publication," he wrote on LinkedIn.
The website joeaston.com.au says "for 12 years he struck fear into the hearts of the nation’s political and corporate leaders with his must-read column".
His latest book is The Chairman's Lounge, The inside story of how Qantas sold us out.
