Fairfax on the hunt for new creative agency partners

Fairfax is on the hunt for new creative agency partners with Trinity P3 understood to be in the initial stages of sounding out agencies.

Whybin TBWA has held the main account for seven years. It will remain the agency of record for brand campaigns across properties such as the Australian Financial Review, Domain and the Sydney Morning Herald.

As such, Fairfax is not calling a review but looking for independent agencies to handle smaller project work. The implication is that the publisher is looking to save cost on smaller jobs and production.

The move comes as main rival News Corp has settled on an incumbent agency after calling a review of its own creative agencies in March.
