Emerging Leader panelists revealed for October Lessons in Leadership event

AdNews has revealed the three execs from our Top 30 Emerging Leaders list to speak on a panel at our upcoming October event, Lessons in Leadership.

Watch here to find out who has been randomly selected to take part on a panel with MediaCom's Gemma Hunter as moderator.

Our Top 30 Emerging Leaders list recognises the next wave of leaders coming through the industry and was launched this year as a spin-off of the Power 50.

As part of the initiative, we will be offering all 30 Emerging Leaders a free ticket to our Lessons in Leadership event on October 24 in Sydney.

In partnership with MediaCom, and supported by Commtract, Lessons In Leadership will bring together the most senior leaders across the advertising and media businesses who will share their stories, wisdom and tricks of the trade.

There will be a strong focus on successful people management; how to bring together the strongest and most inspired workforces, and how this is essential to generating robust, long-term business outcomes.

Three CEOs (MediaCom's Willie Pang, Leo Burnett's Melinda Geertz and M&C Saatchi's Jaimes Leggett) will share three different leadership methods; retired CEO Des Speakman will reflect on their journey to the C-suite - with none of the lows erased (via video); while a gang of emerging talent will brainstorm the future of our industry and how the attributes of a leader will need to change in 15 or 20 years' time.

On top of that, there will be a special presentation where MediaCom Sydney GM Ben McCallum will reveal what leadership lessons he has picked up from his sporting heroes.

No stone will be left unturned. If your ambition is to lead our industry and drive change, this event is for you.

Tickets are still available here for the Sydney half-day, priced at $279.00
