Prime minister Scott Morrison kicks of the 2022 election with a commercial via the Liberal Party, Why I love Australia.

First he acknowledges a tough couple of years -- drought, floods, fire, pandemic and now war -- then he looks to the future.

"I was at a trade school the other day in Brisbane, Year 11 and 12.

"I asked them. I said: 'How many of you are going to start your own business?'

"More than half of their hands went up.

"How good is that?

"That’s why I love Australia."

Labor's Anthony Albanese talks about a better future:

"Growing up with a single Mum, I learnt the value of a dollar and I know how hard it is to get ahead.

"That’s why I will help families get ahead by making child care cheaper, reducing power bills and investing in fee-free TAFE.

"And I will make it easier to see the doctor.

"It’s my fully costed plan for a better future."

The Australian Greens: This election we're fighting for a safe climate and a better future for everyone.

"We can tackle the climate crisis and economic inequality, and create a better life for all by making billionaires and big corporations pay their fair share of tax."

The United Australia Party: We need a New Government.
