Marketing and media analytics consultancy Ebiquity has launched a media management consulting service for advertisers.

Ebiquity’ says the service will be in 14 countries and offer strategic, tactical and operational advice to clients on data, adtech, operations, agency management and strategy. Ebiquity will also provide training for senior marketers.

Ebiquity’s media management capability is being led by Laetitia Zinetti, the former head of marketing and media for Nissan in Europe. He joined Ebiquity in 2010 as managing director of Ebiquity's French operations.

“Advertisers are under ever-increasing pressure to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their marketing spend," she says.

"Our global consultants across the world will help them to improve all aspects of their media strategy and operations from data management and analysis to the selection of technology providers and agency partners.”

The service comes as the media industry grapples with concerns about transparency in measurement and buying practices. In Japan, Dentsu was found overcharging clients while Facebook recently admited to overestimating the performance of its video advertising inventory.
