Cricket Australia's media account is out ot pitch with three agencies and the incumbent, Apparent, fighting for the business AdNews can confirm.
Apparent is currently doing full service for Cricket Australia.
GroupM's EssenceMediacom held the account before Apparent but now has a conflict, winning National Rugby League in June.
This means that holding group agencies are thin on the ground with this pitch. Insiders say Publicis Groupe and Omnicom are not in the process.
In January Cricket Australia rerenegotiated its broadcasting deals with Seven West Media (SWM), to end a court battle over fees, extending media rights from the 2024-25 season to the 2030-31 season.
