Independent creative agency Emotive has appointed Paul Sharp as creative director.

Sharp joins Emotive from VCCP Sydney where he was creative director on ING, Cadbury NZ, and Compare the Market among other clients.

Sharp has previously worked in London, and held creative lead roles at various agencies in Sydney including The Monkeys and Leo Burnett.

“Like many of the best creatives I’ve worked with, Sharpie can’t help creating,” says Michael Hogg, managing partner and head of strategy.

“Beyond his love of ideas, he’s an impeccable art director and an eclectic reference collector. And as a good mate, while it pains me to say such nice things about him, I’m genuinely excited by what he can do as part of Emotive.”

Emotive added six new clients in 2021 and is planning on opening its new HQ on Coogee Beach in May. The agency is also set to announce new hires across its team.
