Sydney Markets has partnered with Clemenger BBDO to deliver a brand relaunch following a competitive pitch against four other agencies.
The agency’s work for Australia’s largest wholesale fruit, vegetable and flower market will be informed by a significant program of stakeholder engagement and consultation.
Clemenger BBDO Sydney has worked closely with stakeholders including growers, flower traders and providores to gain a thorough understanding of their needs whilst developing the new brand identity, positioning, creative platform and ‘go to market’ approach.
Brent Kerby, chief executive officer, Clemenger BBDO Sydney, said: “There are very few brands that touch our lives as deeply as Sydney Markets. Almost every piece of fresh fruit and vegetable we eat, plus the abundance of fresh cut flowers Australians enjoy, move through the markets."
Ned Tesic, head of marketing at Sydney Markets said: “We’re known for our indispensable role in the horticultural supply chain, the reliable supply of fresh produce and flowers, and our environmental and community support.
"It’s time we celebrate our iconic position. I couldn’t think of a better partner than Clemenger BBDO to work with us to bring our brand to life and introduce us to consumers.”
The first output of the partnership, the new brand identity, launched this month
