The launch of Celebrity Apprentice Australia attracted more than 600,000 metro viewers, helping Nine win the night.
The latest season of the reality TV show pulled in an average 682,000 metro viewers for its launch episode last night, according to OzTam figures. The Boardroom firing segment pulled in an average 812,000 meto viewers.
This made Celebrity Apprentice, which aired at 7pm, the most-watched entertainment show for the night, with MasterChef Australia, which aired at 7.30pm, pulling in 541,000 metro viewers.
Meanwhile, Seven’s 7News Spotlight: Martin Bryant’s Dark Secrets, which aired at 7pm, pulled in 702,000 metro viewers.
Nine News was the most watched program for the night, attracting 1.009 million metro viewers.
For people aged 18-49, Celebrity Apprentice Boardroom was the most watched with 284,000 metro viewers, followed by Nine News with 276,000, and Celebrity Apprentice with 253,000.
For people aged 25-54, Nine News dominated with 332,000 metro viewers, followed by the Boardroom segment with 328,000, and Celebrity Apprentice with 288,000 metro viewers.
Nine won the night with 29.3% of the network share, followed by Seven with 28% and Ten with 19.2%.
