More than 100 people across the Brisbane advertising industry came together on Thursday, October 13, at the Albion Indoor Sports Centre to pass and pivot for good to support UnLtd, the social purpose organisation connecting the media, marketing and creative industries with charities helping young people at risk.

The event saw teams of agencies, TV, radio and outdoor compete under Fast5 Netball rules with six-minute quarters and five players a side.

The final was a tight game between Team Blue and Team Red with Team Red securing the win with a final score of 16-25. The winning team consisted of players from OMD, Zenith, ACM and MiQ.

Anastasia Papantoniou from Carat and Nathan Soulsby from ACM were named as the Player of the Day thanks to their overall performance throughout the day.

The players and spectators also heard from The Pyjama Foundation, one of UnLtd’s Brisbane based charity partners, about the important work they do with children in foster care.

The players were supported by a passionate spectator crowd who at times got so loud, the teams missed the siren and kept playing on.

Anthea Gaffney, General Manager QLD at UnLtd said: “What a fantastic day! It was so good to bring the Brisbane industry together to have some fun, connect as an industry and to raise important funds to support young people at risk. Thank you to all our players, spectators, volunteers and supporters for making it such a great day – we can’t wait for next year’s event!”

The next UnLtd event in Brisbane will be the Big Clash cricket competition on March 9.
