The Brisbane Advertising and Design Club (BADC) has welcomed back video ad delivery gurus Peach as platinum sponsor and presenting partner of Brisbane’s only creative advertising and design awards.

The Brisbane creative community will come together for its annual gala awards night – this year themed Let the Games Begin - on October 22 to celebrate the might of Brisbane’s creative industry.

Brisbane content agency Light and Shade are also returning as sponsor of the always popular after party.

BADC president Stuart Myerscough said, “We’re delighted that Peach is supporting us again.

“The quality of entries received set a very high standard and created quite the challenge for our judging panel again this year.

“We’re thrilled with the support shown and response to all our events this year by our local creative community.”

Peach business development manager APAC Lauren Yelavich said: “Queensland is a key market for us and we are delighted to partner and support the BADC and wider industry for another year and we are excited to see the high-quality submissions that Queensland creatives are known for.”

Content production group Eric, Tom & Bruce have come on board as Gold sponsor this year, joining long-time Gold sponsors Cutting Edge, O’Brien Accountants and DMCG Global.

The 2022 judging panel is comprised of 42 experts from across the industry who have been tasked with separating a high-quality field of entries.

The panel chair and chair of judges for 2022 is Andy Flemming creative lead at 72andSunny, who is regarded as one of Australia’s best advertising writers and his infamous Cannes diary is now one of the highlights of the festival.

Flemming said: “This is the fourth time I’ve judged BADC and it’s always a pleasure. The judges are always the best names and the work is great. The Brisbane advertising scene is thriving.

"Great ads and tropical weather? You bastards.”
