Seven's grand finale of Australia's Got Talent has drawn 752,000 metro viewers overnight but has been unable to topple Nine's primetime offering.
The show was split into two segments overnight, the Grand Final and the Winner Announced. The Grand final drew 747,000 metro viewers overnight, while the Winner Announced drew a further 752,000.
Overnight, Victorian pole artist Kristy Sellars was crowned the winner of the 2019 competition.
The finale was unable to match-up to the show's 2019 return which drew 814,000 metro viewers earlier this year.
Australia's Got Talent, which had been off-air since 2016, returned to original broadcaster Seven this year, after two seasons with Nine.
Nationally, the Grand Final drew a further 449,000 regional viewers, taking its national viewership to 1.19m, while the Winner Announced drew 420,000 regional viewers, taking its national viewership to 1.17m
However, the reality talent program was unable to take out the top spot in primetime overnight, with Nine's The Block taking the Sunday night win, drawing in 1.15 million metro viewers.
Last night’s Sunday night episode of The Block drew the highest audience of 2019 with a national average audience of 1.583m.
