The pair joined forces to fight the high rate of skin cancer ahead of the summer season.
Tonic Health Media and Elevate have teamed up for a campaign designed to combat skin cancer within media agencies across Australia.
The push involves free skin cancer checks to be completed onsite at media agencies across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane by healthcare company Elevate's general practitioners.
It's in response to findings that melanoma skin cancer kills more young Australians between the ages of 20-39 than any other single cancer. Many people working in media agencies fall within this age demographic.
Tonic has been invovled in other health and wellness programs such as the meditation sessions 'Stillness', yoga program 'Tonic Flow' and healthy eating initiative 'Tonic Agency Cook Off'.
Tonic Health media commerical director Jack Mortlock says it's the perfect time to for agencies to get their health check as summer approaches.
“Elevate is the perfect partner to deliver these important skin cancer checks as part of our Healthy Living Program, given its clinical expertise, wholistic approach to health and strong reputation,” Mortlock says.
Elevate CEO Brookes McTavish says the business is also excited to work with Tonic Health.
“Tonic Health Media leads the field in innovative and accessible health and medical media in Australia,” McTavish says.
“Skin cancer is one of those preventable diseases where education and information have a real impact and we’re delighted to support Tonic in this great initiative.”
More than 30 agencies are expected to have hundreds of staff checked as part of the program.
