P&O has appealed to the humorous side of Aussies in its latest campaign, celebrating absolutely everyone taking time out for a short break as made easy by a P&O cruise.
P&O has revealed its latest campaign, 'Sometimes We All Need A Short Break', to convince Aussies to take some time out and get on board with P&O's idea of a 'short break'.
Working with creative agency Bashful and media agency MediaCom, P&O's series of 'short breaks' is the saving grace when looking to escape from life's 'stressful' situations.
From ducking out of the dentist’s chair, to taking a breather from a painful wax or workout, the 15-second clips emphasise the ease with which Australians can have a breather and rejuvenate on a P&O Cruise.
"These days, being ‘busy’ has become a status symbol. Acting as a reminder for people to take some time out, this campaign appeals to a wide audience which reflects the broad appeal of the P&O offering", MediaCom client partner Michael Waymouth says.
“Australians are taking more short breaks than ever before, and as the brand that has pioneered 3 and 4-night cruising in this market, we want to put our mark on this fast-growing category", P&O Cruises marketing director Narelle Riley says.
This is the fourth major creative campaign for P&O Cruises since the brand began partnering with Bashful, with the agency winning a Silver Australian Effie Award this year for their work with P&O.
The three short clips will be utilised across VOD and TV, large and small format outdoor as well as across digital and social media.
