The Australian Defence Force aims to drive recruitment to the Navy in a new campaign by Havas Worldwide.
Havas Worldwide has unveiled its first dedicated brand campaign for the Navy. It is part of a wide-ranging new recruitment drive, showcasing the broad career opportunities available.
The spot aims to demonstrate how people’s skills and interested can be turned into something more and the endless possibilities the Navy offers. It is targeted at young men and women.
Havas Worldwide creative directors Seamus Higgins and Stuart Turner said: "For many, the Navy is the great unknown and our creative challenge was to unlock the true essence of what it is like to be in the Navy.”
The campaign will roll out nationally across multiple channels including TV, cinema, out-of-home, digital, print and radio.
Director military recruitment group captain Kaarin Kooij said: “People are at the heart of the Navy. The Service has a strong focus on progressing talent through the ranks by identifying and developing potential in them. The Navy becomes the best it can be when we attract people from diverse backgrounds, reflective of the Australian culture.”
